About This Business

Hampton Roads Termite and Pest Control Inc. is fast approaching its 30th year in business. Started by Principal owner Wayne Bradshaw and Michael Old in 1986, both grew up together locally in the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake. Both have a strong bond to the local and Hampton Roads area. It’s been important since the days when the business first opened to provide a personal service to our customers which reflects our local business feel, no matter how large we have grown.

Because we have purposely kept ourselves in close proximity to our customers we can do things like set our inspection times on the hour instead of showing up “sometime tomorrow”. All of our inspectors, technicians, repairmen and pest control operators are highly trained and keep up with the latest technology and trends in the business.

Yes, I am happy. Tommy came by for the first visit and did an excellent job of explaining everything regarding pest control and termite inspection and treatment. He also did the first spray for pest control. I did alot of research before selecting this company and I am happy with my choice. Hampton Roads Termite was very easy to work with, made the entire process simple, and they showed up when they said they would. At my residence, they only treat the yard and the bugs and spiders stay out of the house! Had I known how well treating the yard would work, I would have hired them years before I did.

So far, honestly, not thrilled. I signed up for termite repair and rodent treatment. I had to call and schedule because no one contacted me. Then, the gentleman who showed up for rodent treatment showed up w/o proper materials. When he did return the next day, was thirty minutes past the agreed time with no text or call that he was on his way (which I had requested). I've now been told three different things about the rodent treatment, about what could be done and the consequences to my pets, which is my highest priority. Then, after the treatment visit, the entrance to the crawlspace, which is in my garage, was not secured and the wood door that has screws fell on the car in the garage. No damage, but not professional. Also, was told that he needed to collect for the treatment and left without it.
