One of my neighbors referred me to the David William Electric Contractors Company. As I was doing comparison shopping for an entertainment center project I wanted to do. The company sent an estimator out to my home very quickly. This was exciting. Because, this meant I would know early on how soon I could start my project. This is what I found out. Living in a home that was built in the 1970's, the estimator who surveyed my home advised that the house should be totally inspected because during the 70's aluminum wiring was used. The estimator thought it was very important that I bring the house up to code because copper wiring is being used now.
Knowing this first was an eye opener. The alert about what needed to be done before starting a cosmetic project was an alert that had not been brought to my attention from the other companies I had reached out to.
