PestBear arrived unannounced on Friday 29th September. Usually, I receive an email notification of their arrival but not on this occasion. Luckily, I was at home to meet the technician, Jeff.
I explained that there has been been a lot of rodent activity (I found a rat nest in my BBQ last month!), and Jeff provided me with some good advice on how to prevent rodents returning to my property.
Jeff explained to me that he was unable to sweep the cobwebs as 1) it was raining at the time of visit and 2) his brush was very dirty from cleaning other homes and he did not want to leave dirty markings around the house. He said that Pest Bear will return next time when they are in the community.
I did not see him remove any nests, as I had done this myself with a jet wash when I returned from the UK in August. I have noticed (reference to invoice) that these jobs were performed by Jeff on his visit to my property. These jobs were not performed. Also, I was also not aware of any fumigating around my property, maybe due to the weather conditions. I did not see the hose from the back of the van used during my visit. I can double this on my CCTV.
On most occasions, I am not present when Pest Bear visit, as this is my vacation home and I am usually in the UK. I pay a substantial amount of money to Pest Bear for servicing my home. I hope that during my absence, servicing is done properly and thoroughly.
