I have used your company for about 4 or 5 closings this year for termite/moisture inspections and if needed, treatment and repair. The inspection rate for Realtors for the first 3 homes was $55. I was informed just a week or so ago that the inspection fee had been increased to $125 because of more detailed requirements of lenders. I spoke with two lenders who were unaware of any increased level of detail for inspections. Up until this month, every time there were repairs/treatment to be made with one exception, I informed the inspector that we would pay at closing and gave the closing date and was told by Paramount that it wasn't a problem. For the last two closings, despite my repeated reminders that we were paying at closing, I was continually 'dunned' for the billing and when I called to have the report sent to me for the settlement companies' requirements, I was told it was the policy of Paramount not to release the reports without payment! I explained that the most recent outstanding invoice was being paid tomorrow and I was sent the report but there seems to be a very big disconnect between what I am told and what policy is.
