Two workers came to clean out the rat droppings in the attic by removing existing rolled-in insulation, vacuuming, sanitizing and installing new rolled-in insulation. However, when I looked into the attic from the entrance, there were still rat droppings and the air duct foil coverings were torn. They then vacuumed the rat droppings at the entrance and left. Later in the evening when I turned on the heat, black particles (maybe from rat droppings) and other debris came out of the register indicating possible damage to air ducts and more rat droppings in attic.

I called in these problems and another technician came to check. He told me that he found no more rat droppings and torn foil covering does not damage air ducts. He said he sealed gaps between air duct and some of the registers. He was pleasant, professional and answered my questions.
