I am the seller of a home, the buyer agent contracted Hampton Roads Pest to inspect my home, they found no damage other than my outdoor shed, they costed the treatment and repair just over $ 600.00, since they were the contractor that identified the issue and repair to prevent any issues with the buyers VA loan I agreed to the cost and repair , the day of treatment and repair is when I found out exactly what was being repaired on my shed (the treatment was straight forward) which was two (2) again only strips of board on the back of my shed and the cost was $ 375.00, the technician ripped a single 2 X 6 pressure treated board and replaced the 2 damaged pieces, when I questioned the cost the company agreed to reduce by $ 75.00 dollars so it still cost $ 300.00 which I had no choice as I was not going to create an issue to delay the sell of my home.
