Bought a new home and have had a bug problem since before we moved in. Despite extra sprays via HOA, Terminex found “smoky browns“ (local pine tree based roaches/water bugs) to be coming in the eaves into our attic and filtering down. Was told their boric acid treated cellulose attic insulation would solve the problem. $4,000.00 and a month later, and we have noticed absolutely no difference, except now we we’re getting silverfish and spiders also. And our air-conditioning bill still went up 100 bucks this month to boot. I have since added more weatherstripping and threshold seals on all the doors, and great stuff around all the pipe entries, but in spite of feeling no air escaping, they are somehow still getting in. Not a happy camper, not sure what to do next.
