The technician was apologetic, and documented the issue to send to his service manager. The technician said I would be receiving a call from the service manager. I had to reach out to the service manager as I did not receive a phone call from him. I had the hose bib replaced that evening for $802. I sent the invoice via text message to the service manager on 07/14/26 at 10:02 AM. I received a call that morning, and I offered to split the cost of the invoice. Accidents happen. The service manager said he would ask his boss about this potential arrangement. I had to follow up on 07/16/26 at 1:21 PM as I had not heard anything. I then got another call from the service manager, and he said his boss agreed to split the invoice. The service manager said that he would need the invoice, though. I explained that I had texted it to him on 07/14/26 at 10:02 AM and that if he could not retrieve it to please let me know. That is the last communication I have had with anyone from Pest Bear, so I am still out of pocket for $802 fixing an issue that I did not cause.
