This was the third visit (2nd follow-up) from Ultra Safe, and the least satisfactory, after two relatively positive experiences. The technician, while polite, did not come with boot covers and tromped all over my home - rugs, bedrooms, etc - with dirty work boots. The pile of shoes outside the front door should have been sufficient indication that we are a shoe-free household. I also specially asked at the beginning of the service call for him to be very careful with the steel exclusion mesh - I am a single parent living in small downtown Boston condo with a toddler. The exclusion mesh was all over multiple living areas - kitchen, living room, and both bedrooms - without any effort to contain proactively or clean reactively. Trimming of foam installed from a prior visit was messy and more of an eye-sore after this visit than had been after the initial foam installation.
The visit was capped by the technician contradicting advice or perspectives of prior Ultra Safe technicians (that the bait remains fresh for weeks, telling me of numerous spots that they had missed) and the expansion of his exclusion work into our bedrooms without prior consultation (where there have been no sightings or indications of mice).
I followed-up with UltraSafe immediately following the visit. They were apologetic, but it remains to be seen if/how they respond if we need another follow-up (hopefully not).
