Our most recent service was for a foul smell in our office and adjoining dining room (like something dead). The manager who initially investigated said he looked in the heating duct and found nothing. So he said it had to be urine and fecal matter building up in the insulation (no evidence other than a little insulation damage and a few formerly damp spots - no tunnels or burrows). We followed his recommendation ($2999) and after the service no change in smell (and no evidence of urine or fecal matter). He and the service tech returned to find a several weeks rotting opossum in the ducts. We were a little disappointed something of this size and stench was not found initially. Both the supervisor and tech were professional and friendly, but we feel the supervisor could have been more thorough on his initial inspection and perhaps saved us at least some of the cost. The tech was very efficient. We are glad your team will be buttoning up the crawl space to hopefully avoid this in the future. We are long term customers and will remain loyal, this was just a teachable moment:) They did save Thanksgiving!
