Thought they were coming to do the repair. Was told it was an assessment, there was supposed to be a charge which I was not informed. The assessment was what I stated in my call. Not impressed.

Thank you for your feedback concerning your service call with Armstrong Plumbers.
To make sure that we have adequately reviewed a customer's plumbing issue we begin each call with an assessment and provide an estimate for the services to be provided prior to starting the work. This allows the customer a chance to review the services we intend to provide and the price for which those services will be invoiced. Typical to many other service providers in the area we charge a basic fee for the time and travel of the technician, which is credited towards the work should it be completed.
We were on the understanding that you desired to review the estimate with another member of your household prior to committing to the work. And as we had to email the estimate with our technicians iPad not functioning that day we waived any service fees for the call.
We apologize for any misunderstanding of the situation on our part.
