I was happy with the insulators, but the service when I called about having a rodent in my range hood overhead duct was not as positive. They told me that they were coming the following Monday anyway and they would look at it then. Before they could come though the rat died and there were maggots. I called again and told them about the situation with the maggots but when the service man came he did not know anything about that. Service man couldn't find the rat and suggested we find a duct cleaning company. After he left I found the rodent and disposed of it. Now I have been killing flies for the past three days.

Jim, thank you for sharing this unfortunate and uncommon experience. Looking at the records I see our insulation crew removed insulation on Friday, and on Monday our exclusion team was there to seal up access points, and this is typically when a rodent can sometimes be trapped inside the structure. The following Monday we came out to attempt to find the dead rodent, and apparently were unable to locate the carcass.
