I recently signed up for service with Griggs and Browne Pest Control based on a recommendation from a property manager. While the service itself has been satisfactory, nothing special, I was surprised by the pricing. At $500 per quarter, the rates are already considerably higher than many competitors. More concerning was receiving an additional invoice for nearly $700 on top of the regular quarterly charge for Voles.

I understand that additional work can sometimes be necessary, but the overall cost structure feels excessive. As the saying goes, "Pigs get fat, hogs get slaughtered." Companies need to be careful not to push pricing beyond what customers perceive as fair value.

At this point, I'm questioning how long this business relationship will continue unless there is greater competitive pricing.

Once again Griggs & Browne had our back. We used them when we had to remove a shed when we bought our house and they handled that easily and were great, so when we found a hidden hole behind our tree that the last homeowners never plugged that bees were trying to make a nest in we called them right away. I got a next day appointment to assess and they were there right in the beginning of the window. The tech was not able to make it that day to handle it, but he came first thing the next morning and we were bee free! From the customer service reps to the manager who assessed and the tech who did the work we had the best experience. They were all great!

Something important to keep in mind, the ant/bug spray for foundations is actually able to kill those Chinese Lantin Flies up to 3 days after the initial spray. Hopefully your company can make the poison stronger or different just to kill these Flies from Horror Movies.

I just started this service for ticks and mosquitoes. They’ve put the tick pellets down and I haven’t seen a tick yet. So I am very pleased. My mosquito spraying has not commenced yet but should be soon. I will be back to write a further review.
