Menninga Pest Control is a family owned and operated company that was founded by Ken Menninga in 1979. As the business grew, Ken was joined in his business venture by his wife, Judi. Ken passed away and Judi continued to run the business through 2009.

I am pretty much satisfied with the service. A couple years ago at a different address I used McCall service and it was great. I never saw one book for like two years. This time at this address they sprayed about three weeks ago and I started seeing a lot of roaches. They came back about a week ago and sprayed again and I see roaches, the technician told me that I’m probably never gonna get rid of because of the neighborhood or whatever. I don’t understand that. I don’t agree with it. I know I know McCall service is good. I just don’t understand why we can’t get rid of these roaches.

Scheduling the service is not the best. The scheduler leaves a message on my phone the day BEFORE the planned service date to say that the technician will be there tomorrow. Of course no time was given. Since I currently have several issues this month, I did not look at messages until late in the evening. I did not call to move the service date as it was just one more issue to deal with. So I went about my appointments that I had already scheduled during the prior weeks. In my opinion, the scheduling of appointments shows a complete lack of consideration.

I don’t think a person should have to pay for a service before it is performed. The technician that came out did a super job. He was efficient and pleasant. However the having to pay before the technician comes out is like paying for a service before it is completed. Kind of like paying for a car repair before you get your car back!

Service is very good but better coordination between dispatcher and field staff is needed. Tony came by Wednesday to check attic traps several days after dispatcher indicated. Tony contacted me roughly 30 minutes before arrival on a day I was not expecting. Had I not been home his trip may have been wasted.
