About This Business
My name is Philip Moore. I’m a professional clubmaker, a golf columnist, and the author of two books: The Mad Science of Golf (2007) and Understanding Golf (2013). Both my books are available on Amazon.I’m a Certified Member of the Professional Clubmakers’ Society, an Advanced Member of the Golf Clubmakers Association, and a Certified Advanced Rifle Shaft Technician. I’ve also successfully completed club fitting and training programs with Titleist, Mizuno Golf, Adams Golf, Golfworks, Golfsmith, and Swing Science. I also fit and build Tom Wishon golf clubs.
I’ve studied golf and have been an avid player for over forty years. I currently operate my golf club fitting, building, and repair business at the Goose Creek Golf Club in Mira Loma, near Riverside.

I frequently stop by Phil’s shop to analyze my putting launch numbers and, if needed, have him make slight adjustments to my putter’s loft and/or lie-angle. I also regularly send my students and club members to Phil for both club fitting and club repairs. I believe he is the best in the area.
