How to use the Reviews Widget to automatically
publish 4 and 5-star customer reviews on your website
Use https://contactus.com/reviews-widget to generate your widget code, you will use it twice:
  1. To create a Rating Summary (see first example below) that should be part of your standard website page header
  2. For displaying Reviews Feed (see second example below) on a new /reviews page on your website.
We're using https://contactus.com/reviews/fw-pest-control-eastern-massachusetts as the profile page url in our examples below. Use view page source on this page to see the actual code used.

Rating Summary (for your website page header)
Use https://contactus.com/reviews-widget to add your styled version of the above rating summary example to your page header.
  • Including the rating summary on each page of your website will help those pages rank higher and encourage search engines to include your rating info on their search results pages (so your links get more clicks).
  • Link the rating summary to a new /reviews page on your website (see Review Detail below) so the 60-80% of people who visit your website to check you out are never more than a click or tap away from reading your customer reviews.
  • DO include rich snippets when generating your rating summary.
Reviews Feed (for your /reviews page)
Use https://contactus.com/reviews-widget to add your styled version of the reviews listings below to a new /reviews page on your website.
  • Make your widget as tall and wide as you like.
  • Link to it from the rating summary in your page header (see above).
  • IF you already have included the rating summary on every page, DO NOT include rich snippets when generating your reviews detail. Why? Because Google will get confused if you have two sets of rich snippets on the same page.
