I was told by the technician in the pre-inspection that the treatment for bird mites was to spray the baseboards, doorways and perimeter of the ceiling as they will crawl on the ceiling and through doorways.
I received the invoice that showed treatment of only "the baseboards, under the bed and garage". (No doorways or ceiling perimeters mentioned)
I am a little concerned. This treatment was done two days ago and myself and my mother dealt with a great deal of mite activity and bites last night. Not sure if the lack of spraying the ceiling perimeter and doorways continued to allow the mites access to us.
Perhaps a more complete treatment (to include the ceiling perimeter and doorways) is needed?
