Who knew that it's not necessary to tent one's house to exterminate the voracious subterranean termite! In fact - as Joel from Premium explained - tenting won't kill these larvae-looking suckers that live in the ground and produce mud tunnels to get to and from their feast. While tenting is in my future to kill the dry-wood termites that affect remote areas of my house/garage, I am pleased that we were able to promptly attack the most offensive infestation in my new home of 90 years vintage with an in-ground poison treatment.
I only wish the prior owners had been armed with this information in order that they could have done the same over the course of their residency ... and I would not be faced with the reality of hardwood floor repair to the extent that I am now.
