I am in a somewhat handicapped position to provide as comprehensive a review as I would prefer because I was not at our house during the work done, nor have I had a chance to inspect our house or the work area since the work was done. However, there are some aspects of this work effort that I can evaluate.
I want to start by acknowledging that I suspect this was an unusual project. The proposal for this attic insulation removal and replacement project was initially generated in August of 2022. Due to our extensive travel schedule we were not in a position to try to schedule it until this summer. On the day that the work was to take place we were informed that the project was massively under-quoted. Instead of the $3,500 we were initially quoted, it would cost $12,400. We received an impressive 23 page quote with many photos and much information to show that the assumptions of the original quote were wrong. The real scope of the project was clearly stated, but how it was wrongly sized initially was not. Since I was not familiar with this type of project, nor the measured size of the attic space I had no reason to question the original quote.

We accepted the new quote, and the work was rescheduled and finally completed. After some back and forth with you, I received an acceptable report with details and photos showing the finished result. The photos and report are impressive. It looks like a professional job was done. I have no doubt that this was a difficult and unpleasant project. The documentation and your efforts to satisfy our needs were impressive, but as I think is clear, there were some big bumps in the road getting to the finish.
