I am not satisfied with the technician you have sent to solve my problem on my a/c unit. I have identical unit upstair with the same identical problem i.e small hole leak in the evap.unit cooler. First American order a new identical part and the technician replace it without out of pocket expense. Now the same identical problem has identified with the
A/C unit downstairs with your technician, but in order to replace the identical evap. unit cooler you are charging me $ 1,300 for modification and code compliance ( i.e. float valve, plenum ,etc) which has nothing to do with replacing the evap. unit. cooler.To solve the problem. Do the same thing, what has done on the a/c unit upstairs. Replace it with new identical evap. unit cooler, recharge the a/c with freon. Run the unit. Check for leak test and check desired temp. inside the house. No leak test, desired temp is establish.Problem solved.
