We had our annula termite ‘inspection’ yesterday, 6/9/20, and I was greatly dissatisfied.
I was in the garage when he arrived.
He got out of the truck and I asked him if he had a mask. He said no
I told him I would get him one. I did so.
After entering the garage he asked if there was a crawl space.
I said no, It’s a full basement under the entire house.
BTW, he had not introduced himself nor greeted me in any way.
He started walking around in the garage.
I asked him if he had a flash light. He replied, “In the truck”.
After touring the garage he headed for the truck.
I said, “What about the basement?”
He said, “I thought it was a crawl space”.
I repeated what I had said earlier.
He proceeded to tour the basement much more rapidly than any other inspector, again with no flashlight.
When finished he got the paperwork from the truck, filled it out and handed me the clipboard with a pen.
He didn’t say a word nor indicate where he wanted to sign the paper.
I am thoroughly disappointed about this.
I want a capable, thoroughly trained inspector to inspect our home again.
I will not pay for this travesty.
