Unfortunately, my experience was hampered by restrictions in place for COVID-19 by ABC’s management. Over a course of nearly 3 months and $700 paid to ABC, a racoon and her baby did significant damage to my attic (insulation, ducting, vents, drywall) before deciding to leave of their own accord due to the raising temperatures of summer.
The techs and phone operators I dealt with were extremely polite and helpful, but regrettably no one could actually enter my residence and remove the infestation. I’m very aggravated with the situation because I now know of other wildlife companies that were charging less money and entering customers’ homes to remove pests during the lockdown.
I applaud ABC for wanting to protect their employees, however, I feel they should not have been charging customers full price for a partial or limited service. Even after paying full price for limited services, ABC would not offer to discount any pricing on their attic vent installation.
It’s been over two weeks since ABC has been notified that the infestation is no longer present at my home, but they have not sent anyone to remove their cover from my attic vent or the safety equipment mounted to my roof. Until then, I am unable to secure my vent from more wildlife entering.
Overall, I’m very disappointed with my experience with ABC Humane Wildlife and can’t find myself recommending them any longer.
