Not one-time during the following year did they come to perform preventative maintenance as they offered because of number of remediations. Maybe Covid reduction caused part of the operational degradation but we’ve worked with many other hvac companies across 3 counties over previous 5 years in supporting a realtor flipping homes and our own replacement was the most cumbersome with the most remediations.

I am very fair in my evaluations. Praise when deserved and voicing concerns when experiencing it. This is a small business that you want to be successful, but know anytime a company has a estimator/salesperson out first and the Sup/installers are completely different and you never see the salesperson again, just know you are paying a premium that is probably 20-25% higher than owner-operator or partner involved bidding. You should have a higher expectation if that layer of business development is involved. I could’ve spent 33% less — different equipment, different company, same length warranty.

Hopefully, they learned from our experience and put processes in place to complete projects right first time to avoid remediations.
