I became a Corky's customer after they purchased the company I'd previously been using for pest control. There were problems with scheduling and communication from the start. In April I finally decided this wasn't a good fit for us, so I called the day before our scheduled service--as soon as I received notification that they would be out the next day--and told the woman I spoke with that I wanted to not only cancel the next day's service, but I wanted to close our account. She confirmed with me that our account was closed and the technician would not be out the next day. But the next afternoon I was notified that the technician came out and attempted to service our house. Because I was not home, the service was not able to be completed. I was charged anyway. After months of waiting on a seemingly non-existent "Customer Care Department" to review the recorded phone call, and hours of speaking with multiple people and getting the same run around over and over, I finally just paid the bill. The woman I spoke with in accounting was rude, dismissive, and frankly, manipulative. They made a mistake, and I had to pay for it. If you are looking for a pest control company, I sincerely suggest you continue your search.
