Very upset with this company. During the original phone call, they gave me careful information about the process (mice infestation) and pricing which were not honored. I asked a lot of questions. I got what I thought was good information. The first evaluation was fine. Eric came on time and was knowledgeable and professional. Traps were set and mice were successfully caught. However, he then contracted work that was never mentioned during the original phone call. He also quoted higher pricing than what we were told. When I mentioned it, he reduced the price. That always makes me nervous. All pricing should be transparent. Then came the schedule for the work. They wanted to schedule next steps (sealing holes and laying bait stations) for 3 weeks out. HUH? That is not practical when there is an active mice infestation. I asked them to come sooner. They said they'd come Saturday, which was nice. But then they showed up on Friday without notice, when I was not there. They left bait stations around the house that were not the ones discussed. They did not replenish the original traps in the house but left glue traps instead. During all conversations, I insisted that no glue traps be used. They are inhumane. Watching a mouse die on a glue trap is an awful experience. I am not sure I trust this company. The original phone call was one about wildlife and the use of items that are not harmful to the environment or secondary animals. But whatever they told me is not what they did. When I called customer service to discuss, they played dumb and left me on hold for over 20 minutes. The following phone call got heated and the agent hung up. Very very unprofessional. I am rethinking this contract.

I became a Corky's customer after they purchased the company I'd previously been using for pest control. There were problems with scheduling and communication from the start. In April I finally decided this wasn't a good fit for us, so I called the day before our scheduled service--as soon as I received notification that they would be out the next day--and told the woman I spoke with that I wanted to not only cancel the next day's service, but I wanted to close our account. She confirmed with me that our account was closed and the technician would not be out the next day. But the next afternoon I was notified that the technician came out and attempted to service our house. Because I was not home, the service was not able to be completed. I was charged anyway. After months of waiting on a seemingly non-existent "Customer Care Department" to review the recorded phone call, and hours of speaking with multiple people and getting the same run around over and over, I finally just paid the bill. The woman I spoke with in accounting was rude, dismissive, and frankly, manipulative. They made a mistake, and I had to pay for it. If you are looking for a pest control company, I sincerely suggest you continue your search.

They both came out for the application process and, again, very professional. All our questions were answered. Daniel is a fantastic representative of your company. Both of your employees made a difficult situation a bit more palatable. Exceptional customer service and a pleasure to have in our home.

Daniel Clark did a rodent and termite inspection at our new property yesterday which is in wine country in Temecula. We were very concerned about both rodents and termites. Yuck! He was terrific, very thorough, timely, detailed and professional. Daniel answered all our questions and provided a good plan to keep our new home safe and rodent and termite free! I highly recommend Daniel and Corky"s Pest Control!!!

I just Cancelled My Corkeys Pest Service. Since I have been requesting that they service my home on Fridays only when my house keeper is here so the dogs don't get out and lick the tech. After 3 years of requesting I finally gave up and fired them.

I hired Corky for a property that I rent. They knew to contact the tenants for service dates and times They never service the property but continue to charge me on a monthly basis for months. Corky"s has refused to refund despite acknowledging they did not service the property.

Just wanted to say that Corkys service is A+ and second to none … I called for an outside rodent problem and they sent over "jj" and he was very professional, knowledgeable and on time which is something I appreciate because of my scheduled day . I recommend you request "jj" and I"m sure you will agree with me that he does the job right and make you feel comfortable and at ease that they will take care of business with your pest issues .. thank again Corkys and my dude JJ …. you guys are awesome!!!

Wish I could choose no stars.
I will never use Corky"s again. I have left 2 messages for a manager to call back to discuss the termite inspection report. The house was tented in Jan, 2022, wood repair was done at that time. Seller"s termite inspection done in Oct. The inspector noted that there was old termite damage. Now Corky"s wants to charge $1,800.00 for the new repair! Why was the damage not noted and repaired with the original work? No one will call back to talk with me. VERY poor customer service! Rosa was very nice and answered my questions but I needed to talk to someone that can make a monetary decision. My parents were clients for years and my brother continued the service. My brother canceled his service today based on the lack of communication with me. I will now need to spend more money to have someone come in to do an inspection and possible repairs. I can"t express enough NOT to use this company due to the lack of costumer service by management. |

I was a long time customer, over 20 years with Corkys. Selling my home I asked for an inspection as a condition of the sell. Guess what they found over $6500.00 worth of termite damage. I even get monthly basic service and no one gave me a heads up of a potential issue. Contracted with Corkys to do the repair. What a mistake. Horrible experience. They contracted work out or a subcontractor Julz. The guys were so unprofessional, slow and broke my sliding glass door by there negligence. A job that should take 3 days took 8! Put me and my neighbors through grinding and pounding. Broke roof tiles ,tried to hide the repair with tiles not close to what was broken. No help for MGR David, Rosa never returned my calls emails. I was forced to manage this nightmare without ANY support from David Corkys or Gen Mgr. I will never recommend Corkys and my neighbors won't either for any of this type of termite repair. Oh and you have to pay upfront for all the work.. so beware you will have zero leverage when things go bad and Corkys could care less as well as they already have all your money. This review was based on facts and not imagined. This is the worst review I have ever given any Company. And Corkys earned and deserved it!! And never once called me to even offer an apology.

Corkys visited my property, gave an assessment & I received a quote by phone for their services. I gave them a credit card number & hired them. 1/2 hour before the scheduled service I received a call from them & they wanted over $100 more to complete the service. Shocking. Based on this experience, I would place their honesty & professionalism as doubtful. Be aware of a company that practices bait & switch.

Termite Fumigation Disaster using Corky"s Pest Control. Our neighbor and I employed Corky"s Pest Control to fumigate our attached homes. We were left with over 220 broken roof tiles and a repair cost that exceeded $4,000. That was more than the cost of the fumigation. Our HOA property manager expressed that this was an exceedingly high number of broken tiles for our community. As you can guess, I cannot recommend using Corky"s Pest Control.

Alfred did my service on 8-10-21 and he was great and very nice Iam on an 8 weeks service plan and I would really appreciate it if i can keep on having Alfred to come back please I would recommend Alfred to anyone he did a wonderful job . So if anyone calls Corkys please ask for Alfred to do your service .

Disappointed! Customer service was great until they get your money! Tile was slid across roof, NO DAMAGE, just slid. Asked for someone to put it back. Rosa, claiming to be a supervisor, refused to help saying damage contract was not signed. When she finally comprehended that NO DAMAGE was done it was just move, her message changed to - we don"t take care of that. Then claims anyone above her is out of the office for a week and they don"t take calls. Called a local office - when asked for a corporate office - refused to give a contact number. - Way to go Corky"s - work on your customer service AFTER you"ve got our money! Will not recommend and will not have you do the repair work.

I hired them because I had rats, paid aprox 400$ they sent people every week to set up sticky pads to catch the rats. Never caught anything. I have continued bill 49$ every mo. for nothing.
Brought a cat! NO MORE RATS! They're useless!! Don't hire them for rat control. |

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! My Landlord called a few different companies to come out and remove a dead animal from under our patio deck which would require them to crawl under the house about 6-8 ft to reach the porch (straight shot). He called a few different companies and Corkys was the one company that told him they would crawl under the house and they told me the same thing when I made the appointment. Feeling confident that we would be able to open our windows again after Corky"s came, we were very let down when our technician Gilberto showed up and asked where the animal was, and then said they don"t crawl under houses and left, which took about 1 minute from the time he showed up. He didn"t look into the crawl space or even attempt to help in anyway. Our landlord called me and said that he spoke with the company after the technician left our house and they told him that the technician said the animal was to big for him to get out from under our house so they have to come back on Friday which is 2 days from their initial visit because they didn"t have a technician available sooner. He didn"t even LOOK into the crawl space or anywhere near it and he said it smelled like a "rat". So they lied to my landlord and to us. My husband called Corkys customer service line and complained about them lying and having a technician come to our house and do absolutely nothing and they told him they could have someone come on Friday but we would not be compensated in anyway for our troubles and they"re failure to even try to help us when the first technician came. The woman at Corkys customer service line then hung up on my husband because he wouldn"t except their poor customer service and needed a solution much sooner. We needed a solution when the first technician showed up! These people lie and are very misleading and do not care about their customers. Go elsewhere!!

I've been having problems with ants, probably due to the weather lately and my guy came out to spray for me (Alfred). I explained the situation and he was so pleasant and took extra steps to help take care of my problem. I have never had a pest control company that is so thorough as Corkys. We heard a noise in our attic and thought we could have rats(s). Corky's came laid traps within 5 feet of the attic entrance door...something I have done myself. Four visits (weeks) later ...no rats. Their recommendation...for various things totaled over $8,000 ....to fix the problem ....WHAT PROBLEM ??
I paid them the $300 for the service and registered my dissatisfaction. Watch yourself with these people !! |

A tech was in our neighborhood, a senior community. I asked him to put on a mask due to Covid 19, he refused. I called the company and they argued with me and tried to make it my fault. Extremely unprofessional and dangerous! A supervisor was supposed to call me back, never got a call.

Recently purchased a new home and contacted Corky's for service. We were able to get an appointment set quickly for both interior and exterior. Alfred G. (CP 22) was our service provider. He called before he arrived (per our request) and showed up at the beginning of the appointment window. He walked through the property and advised me what product/services he was going to perform. He was very friendly, cheerful and professional. He completed the service in less then an hour. Would definitely use the service again and request Alfred to be our tech.

THEY DON'T KEEP THEIR WORD. Scheduled pest control for 10am-2pm. So I took a half day off work. At 1:58pm nobody had showed up so I contacted them and was told sorry there was a scheduling issue and so it was set for 3-5pm. They would rush the guy over at 3pm. Ok great I said, so I told my boss I'd be taking the full day off. And then nobody ever showed up. Now I'm left with a ton of ants and spiders all over, and 1 less vacation day. DONT TRUST THEM.

Tech didn't fill my bait stations in December but paperwork showed he placed 40 new baits in a total of 10 stations. I popped them open and there were some with no baits, partial, and all were old. I called and they said there would be no charge. Then a few weeks later they charged my credit card. I am trying to get my money back for their techs dishonesty but no one will return my phone calls or emails.
Check your bait boxes everyone as you may be getting ripped off also. |
