Ordinarily, I would write with high praise about Terminix , but i can not. We had a tech named Jim. Jim was great to deal with. He knew my wife is a clean freak and has a fear of bugs. Jim was our tech for years and got to know us and our family. We even recommended Terminix to our neighbors because of his hard work and his great attitude. Now we have another tech. I don't know his name as he normally doesn't have much interaction with me. So it's our understanding when you see a pest , you call. Believe me with my wife's fear that is a great feature. Lately we've called back to back. Mostly due to missing our new tech and him only being to do the outside. My wife called again this month as we had ants invading our kitchen. Prior to calling them we bought Raid traps and spray but the ants still came. We don't leave food out and we do not leave dishes in the sink. So our tech came out yesterday and when he came in he acted as though he had a bad day. He told us his manager said we were using them alot and either he, the tech, was the problem or we were abusing the system. He said we should think about a every month plan instead of our current plan. The tech was insultive by even suggesting this. My wife said she would call his manager and handle it but then the tech said nevermind because " he knew we weren't abusing it". I'm going to cancel my plan Monday. I dont like being disrespected or accused in my house. I would rather pay Orkin more money then to ever have that tech come back in my house again.
