I received a voicemail (or text, don't remember which) one day before a tech was to come out for the annual inspection. No time of arrival given. I was home all day except for a 15 or so minutes period when I was dog walking. Later received notice the tech had been here so I can only assume he was since no one came to the door. In years past I had been given a time frame - not so this year so the basement was not inspected.
