The three stars are an average of sorts of their entire process (6 weeks from inspection to completion).
Five stars for the excellence of the inspection and finding issues from an inspector in the Southern Pines, NC office, and on their subcontractor Bell Cow of Fayetteville who did some of the work.
The gentlemen who replaced my gutters were very nice and finished their work in a timely manner, but broke several branches on a dwarf Japanese Maple in my yard and did not tell me. They did not ensure the gutters did not leak before they left. I found the tree with the broken branches and I checked to ensure the gutters didn’t leak after they left.
One star for the lack of communication on the part of the Southern Pines Terminix office with regard to scheduling subcontractors and for the Fayetteville NC office for calling me three times and sending me a bill well before the work had been completed, despite my contract allowing me to pay in full once the work was completed.
I was told by the Fayetteville office that I would continue to receive these harassing calls until I paid in full because that’s what the “computer did.”
Each of the three times I returned their calls, I explained the situation about starting gutter work, finding fascia board and soffit issues, getting that repaired with their subcontractor Bell Cow, and then having gutter installation rescheduled, but it was only on the third call that I reached someone who actually took the notes about the job and put those notes in my account. I called back the next day to see if the notes were there and she said they were. She “fixed” it so that I would not receive any more calls from the Fayetteville office by calling the Southern Pines office, and I thanked her!
In the six weeks from start to completion, I was only able to reach my local Terminix office in Southern Pines once and I called them quite a few times. The calls ended up being taken by the Fayetteville office.
I think they need a better computer system and they need to allow better communication with local offices and not have all calls be sent to the Fayetteville office.
