When the service person returned to finish the interior work he(Otto) said as he was leaving the premises that he found dampness when replacing the insulation. I did not question him at the time because it was late in the day and it was obvious he was exhausted from the heat and long day.

My question is: The exterior outdoor treatment of the previous day was done and would that be the reason for the dampness? There was a heavy but short rain the next day but I did not have water in my basement, and have never had water in the basement. Was this dampness from the treatment? Or a combination of the rain and treatment? Also did the rain affect the treatment by watering down the chemical. Please respond to this so I can call with my credit card number to pay the bill.
