This company is great.

Justin came for a one year check-up after treating the house last year for the previous owner and just before we bought it. Everything checked out well and Justin was very patience and helpful with me pointing out what had been done previously and what to look for if termites might return - especially in the crawl space.

I have not been to my home yet, but trust they did a good job. I will need to be notified prior to them coming in future.

Technician Rick was very thorough and professional. He was knowledgeable and even sprayed our ant holes. Thanks for a job well done.

So far, so good. Just had the service performed yesterday so time will tell if it was effective. Joseph was pleasant and accommodating and if everything works as he explained, we should be happy customers. The only “gotcha” was that we had heard via another customer that the non-chemical that you use now has clove oil rather than rosemary, but Joseph was unaware of this. He made a couple of calls and verified that this formulation change had indeed been made and it had not been communicated to him. So communication with the field techs could apparently be improved. Otherwise, happy so far.

I'm very glad I called Alternative Pest Control. Pete was timely, professional and explained the services you have available. Because of changes we made in our back yard last week, I believe our rodent friends have moved closer to the golf course which means we didn't need your services today.

Some of those rodent friends know there are bird feeders in our back yard offering delectable grains. I think they will soon be back, and we will need you9r services on a regular basis.

Alternative Pest & Termite was recommended to me about four years ago by our realtor in preparation for sale of the family estate in Cornville. The main house and guest house had obvious termite damage, but it was still shocking (upon inspection) to learn that both would require tent fumigation. Joshua explained this process very thoroughly, and they worked out an alternating treatment schedule that could accommodate me staying on the premises with a multitude of cats, the various contractors, and then, the unexpected arrival of Covid-19. Thanks to that delay, I can testify that there was no evidence of termites at time of sale, three years later. By comparison, the purchase of my own home immediately following, had a time/closing constraint of 30 days. Justin was the inspector this time (Cottonwood), and suggested an alternate termite treatment, as there was no time for fumigation on such short notice. He was also very helpful in stating that an abundance of lumber/construction debris lying under and around the manufactured home needed removal for access to treatment and to discourage re-infestation. Somehow, we got this accomplished and treated, and one year later (I always purchase the guarantee renewal), there is no sign of termite activity. As other reviews have noted, this company has excellent customer service. They are polite, keep appointments, are very knowledgeable and worth listening to. I am thankful that my insect damage was resolved in time, but regular inspections could have prevented much. Thanks again! Cheryl.

I have used Alternative Pest Control for nearly 25 years now. Dennis, the owner who has since past away, was my first 'bug guy' and he knew my mother and father who have also gone home to be the Divine. I have been fortunate to have Chris as our 'bug guy' for at least four or five years now. He is so good to us and really cares not only about our home being protected but about us as people. He is a friend. That is the kind of customer service that keeps clients like us loyal and grateful. In a world where there is a lot of craziness, it's a blessing to have people you can count on.

Chris is great!

I am not real happy about this latest appointment. It was scheduled for sometime between 8 and 10 am. A few minutes after 10:30 we left to run some errands. According to Tina the new person showed up sometime after 11. He did try calling me but I don't answer numbers I don't recognize, especially if they're out of the area. He did the outside and charged us full price. We deliberately had stayed home until well after the appointment time, just in case, but had to leave. I think you need to be more conscientious about those times and calling ahead of time if you are going to be early or late.
