TERRIBLE service. First, they gave me an appointment time and told me they’d be coming out to spray for ants that day. I wanted a one-time spray before signing a contract to see how effective it would be. Instead of sending someone out to do the work, they sent someone to make me sign a contract. After finally getting across that I did not want to sign up for their 12-month plan, they scheduled an appointment for someone to do the spray. Someone came out, they put down granules, my ants MULTIPLIED! Called them back, after several transfers and about half an hour on hold, I was told the manager would have to speak to me about it. A day later he called me back and said someone would come out to spray. It finally killed the ants... for less than 2 weeks and they were all back again. Called to discuss it with them (they originally told me it would keep ants gone 30-60 days). Spent another 30 minutes being transferred around and put on hold. The call taker told me that in order to keep ants away that long I’d need to have someone come out every 2 weeks and that’s why I needed to sign up for their annual plan (where they come out once a month)... what?! I told them I wanted a refund of the $200 I spent to keep ants off my yard for all of two weeks. She told me I’d need to speak to a manager but he wasn’t available, so he’d call me back. He never did. Horrendous customer service and the product was just as worthless. Do yourself a favor and find a better service provider.

I've always been satisfied with our service from Terminix. In large part due to the consistency of having the same Technician year in and out. He was courteous, professional, and thorough in every aspect of his job. Recently that has changed and I am very confused why. I knew my Technician and he knew my family, our house, and preferences. I would like our old Tech back asap.

We had our property management company call us to say that we needed to treat our property immediately then presented us an estimate from their guys in Manteo that was very expensive. Being a property owner that lives 4 hours away I felt very uneasy about this.

I called Brad and his team to confirm that a treatment was necessary which he did confirm. We had a reasonable contract by email within the hour and service was started. Brad was in constant contact with me throughout the process keeping us informed. This is the go to pest control company for the Outer Banks.

The service itself, I am very pleased with. However, your scheduling of the service leaves a bit to be desired. I've had 2 service calls in 2 weeks for 2 different inspections. Each inspection took less than 10 minutes to complete. You could have easily scheduled both of these at the same time, but you could not have billed for 2 service calls. As a customer, I notice that and it does impact satisfaction and willingness to recommend your services and your products.

Tech was friendly & knowledgeable, but the speed of the service left a little to be desired. I understand they have time restraints and requirements, so this is not the tech’s fault, but it does feel extremely rushed and feels as though not enough time is spent to really address the issues.

Our service technician Gustavo Castro always does a fine job. He was able to eliminate carpenter bees this year which has been an annual problem for us.

I paid extra to have my home done inside and out. I waited for the service tech to come to my home on our appointed date, he did not show up within that time frame so I had to go to work. The tech came while I was at work and was only able to spray the outside since I could not be home. Not only did I not get what I paid for (the inside was not done) but the main problem I had outside was a hornets' nest on my porch which I specifically pointed out during the initial visit with the tech who signed me up with a contract. That was my first visit...which I paid $125 dollars for. The second visit I didn't even know they were coming so again I wasn't able to be there to let them inside of my home. When I called to complain and cancel my order the woman was very dismissive of my situation and let me know they would still be charging me this month, $95 even though I was canceling my service and had not received what I had paid for. I will never use this company again and I will let anyone and everyone know of the poor experience I had with Terminix. I would not use them if I were you. They took my money, didn't do what was promised and their customer service department didn't even try to help me.

We just received our annual check, spraying inside and outside, plus had our dehumidifier checked. Rita Sanborn was our technician for the first time and we were extremely pleased with how thorough she was. Also, following her work she took the time to update us what services were performed and explained any issues she may have found. Terminix should be extremely proud to have such a great employee who offers great customer service for company.

I am not too happy with service, I felt like the guy only spent 30 min at my house to do inside and out, still a lot of spiders and other insects inside and out of house, terrible job in my detached garage. not happy going to look at other companies.

The Technician was good at applying for fleas. Think the infestation is going to need another application as we still have fleas even after vacuuming frequently. The indoor cat was treated by the vet 7 days prior to treatment.
