I have been a loyal customer for many years, however, recently I had the gentleman who inspected the crawl space tell me that the moisture under the house was getting up there and would I agree to having someone talk to me about a moisture barrier. I said sure. The salesman/inspector came out and said not only was there moisture but there was also fungus growing down there and the moisture barrier already there had not been I stalled correctly plus it didn’t come up to code. He then asked who had put it down there and I told him that it was Terminix. He apologized and said that several years ago they had outside help to meet the demand and would therefore give me a discount because the job had been so poorly done. Having it replaced and the “fungus” treated cost me $3,130. I have no idea how much it would have been without the “discount” but it must have been up there. I can only hope they have done a better job this time and not taken advantage of a widowed senior citizen.
