Catseye Pest Control

I had a full cat guard exclusion system installed and a 3 visit rodent plus program. Overall, I would not recommend this at all.

Everything from the scheduling to the execution of the project was chaotic. I was told the project was beginning, and given a date and time for the installation to occur. On the day of, I was not contacted and no one showed up. Only after I reached out did I get any answers. A job that should have taken 2.5 days was done piecemeal over the course of 7 business days. At “completion”, scraps of metal were left in a pile on the side of my home. The only “upper level” rodent proofing done was a screen put over one vent on the side of the house (that already had a screen). Nothing else was touched on the roof or upper level of the home (there are gable vents and three different chimney areas) so I’m not sure what I was even charged for. Nothing in the service reports indicated any work done there besides the single screen.

The final rodent plus visit was also unacceptable. The technician told me all traps were being removed from the basement and non toxic bait stations being added. There’s at least 10 traps remaining. While “vacuuming”, most of the time the vacuum was sitting on my basement floor running while the technician went in and out to his vehicle.

I was very clear that I have pets - the door from the basement to the garage and the garage door itself to the outside were left wide open. Both of my pets could have ran out and escaped and I wouldn’t have known until it was too late. How can someone be so blatantly careless? Used boot covers were left on the floor of my basement, a mouse trap on the sink and another in my upstairs hallway that was knocked out of the attic while vacuuming and not picked up. I shouldn’t have to clean up after the person “cleaning up” the house.

I’m in the service industry and if I behaved this way, I wouldn’t have clients. For the outrageous cost of this program, one would think this company would pay a bit more attention to their jobs.

A few months ago, I had the lower Catseye Guarding put on our house and garage. At first glance it may appear expensive, but it is such as custom siding trim work. In addition, they take apart stairs, access panels etc. to get to 100% of the foundation, no matter where it is. All guards are custom made, as the distance of the siding from concrete out varies by a lot. When installed, everything is even, and the final look almost look blends with the colors of trim other places on the house. I have been at every inch reviewing with the installer over days, and there is no way any mouse can get in. I am thinking even large bugs cannot get in. Service from Sales walk around to actual work and BILLING has been A+. I am not easy to do work for, as I do most remodeling myself, and expect work Like I do it. The cost when figured on linear foot, made it understandable. It is quality work, and when ever the house sells in the future, I am sure the inspector will notice and say, nothing is getting into this house.

Catseye are very professional and have an eye for detail. Their communication is excellent and show their dedication to the customer through their work ethics.

Not a great experience regarding the business side of the company.. we were required to pay 1000.00 up front… the check was cashed and nobody was contacting us regarding scheduling a date to do the job.. after a few days I had to make a call to find out what was going on… the day of them coming out to our house… I was told they would be here at 1 o’clock… at 1:45, I placed a call to find out where they were… I was told that would be at our house at 2 o’clock… I asked why nobody contacted me on that… the gentleman just said they were in traffic… I said that’s fine but you should really made a call to let me know that you were going to be an hour late… and they ended up getting here at 2:20… aside from that they did a good job as far as we know.

Well done! Not a mouse in the house.

Once we signed the contract for the platinum service technician was scheduled for the next day. They were early / on time and listened as we walked them through the house. They could only do some of the tasks as it was raining outside. Looking forward to them returning to see how the bait stations look and the remainig starter services.

We had a carpenter ant eradication spray for the first time on 8/11. But the 3 window and fireplace locations still show ant activity after the treatment (new wood shavings is evident). Please call to schedule for a second spray. A different treatment solution or a stronger dosage is required.

Called Catseye because of a wasp colony behind a sconse light on the deck. Two technicians showed up on time and I showed them where I had seen acitivty. They teeated all areas then walked around and found a basketball sized nest under the deck which I didn't even know was there. They returned 2 weeks later for a second treatment and I can now say the wasps are gone. Thanks Catseye!

I would recommend Catseye to anyone looking for a professional exterminator.

They evaluated the situation and eliminated it on the same day. We noticed what looked like a water spot on the ceiling. In the middle of the night heard something that sounded like a cat purring. It turned out to be a 2' yellow jacket nest. It was removed and there have been no issues since. Great work and perseverance by Idalys. She was in the attic in a bee suit for at least half an hour in 85+ degree weather. Kudos to her and Casey for getting the job done no matter what! I recommend.

We had an initial and follow-on treatment for Carpenter ants. We still have a carpenter ant problem and Calls to your office have left us dissatisfied. Your CT managers have not called us back and the only thing you have offered is the Premium monthly plan. Why would I sign for a monthly plan if you did not eradicate the issue that we paid you for? I have never seen such poor customer service.

To make it even worse, the salesman who initially came out to our house had no respect for our space and tried to sell us more than what we needed at the time. He acted like a used car salesman.

If you do not contact me to fix my current carpenter ant issue, I will never do business with you again. This is terrible customer service.
